Description
The Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival held in the heart of Southern California Wine Country.
The event is held annually at Lake Skinner Recreational area and park. Nestled among rolling hills of vineyards and surrounded by the Shipley Preserve, the Festival grounds offer a weekend in the park with concerts on the Main and Wine Garden Stages, wine tasting, cooking demonstrations, food and wine pairing, hot air balloons and fine food.
Hot air balloons onsite are limited to the Dawn Hot Air Balloon Flights (6 a.m. to 7 a.m.,) morning tethered rides til approx 8:30 a.m. and evening balloon glows after 8 p.m. This is basic science. Hot Air Rises in cool temperatures. For Safety reasons hot air balloon activities are always weather permitting.
Campsites go on sale in March each year and sell out the same day. For mapping and gps use 37701 Warren Road, Winchester address. Festival business offices are located in Temecula.
