Head out to one of these family-friendly events for some Halloween Fun! 

None of the events listed are scary, but almost all of them require advanced ticket purchases before you arrive.  Please make sure you visit the websites and social media pages before you head out to visit any of the special events below so you can know everything you need to know before you go. 

Dia De Los Muertos at Castle Park -(Riverside) Castle Park presents a lively Fall celebration of Mexican and Latin American traditions. Visit Kiddieland for a family-friendly event featuring beautiful decorations and the entertainment of traditional folkloric dancers and whimsical marionettes. Joyful music and dance entertainment, including Duke greeting guests and leading the fun! Día De Los Muertos will also feature delicious, themed treats, crafts, and even trick-or-treating opportunities for our younger guests. Presented as a unique experience, La Cena De Los Muertos, The Supper of the Dead, is a limited buffet dinner opportunity offered twice daily. A separate pre-paid ticket is required. Reserve your place setting along with your Día De Los Muertos admission. Saturdays and Sundays starting on September 24 - October 30.  Purchase your tickets online! SkyPark at Santa's Village - Pumpkins in the Pines  - (Skyforest) Take a drive to Skyforest for crisp clean air and family fun! Starting October 9 and every weekend through October 31  you'll find the ultimate Fall celebration at SkyPark! Come hear the tale of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow Puppet Show and be wowed by Wacko the Magician. Meet their Northwoods characters like Sally Scarecrow, Jeff O Lantern, and Arrow. Pick out the perfect pumpkin and take it to the pumpkin painting station to decorate it! Wear your costumes for trick or treating and save room for yummy fall treats at The Pedal Pub or The Gingerbread House Bakery; Sweet Shoppe! Saturday nights join them for a Moster Mash Skate party or a Fantom Forest Haunted Hike. Order your tickets in advance online. Opening Day- October 8

Tombstone Cinema - Nightmare before Chritmas - (Riverside) Come watch a movie in a historic cemetery! Evergreen Memorial Historic Cemetery is screening of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" "PG" Tale about Jack Skellington's plan to kidnap Santa Claus and celebrate a very different Christmas. (1993).  One day only: Saturday, October 22

Adventure City's Boo-tastic Halloween Party - (Anaheim)  5 Nights of Adventure City Boo-Tastic Halloween Party! Come join Adventure City for this super family-fun Halloween adventure! Go on 11 exciting rides, enjoy a fun Halloween Scavenger Hunt, boogie along at our Spooktacular dance party, go through a spinning vortex, meet a mad scientist Magician, get candy and toys at their Trick-or-Treat Street and much more! Purchase your tickets online as this event sells out! Fridays in October only! - Opening Day - Friday, October 7

Shaqtoberfest - A Halloween Festival- (Long Beach) New this year is Shaqs spin on Halloween. Set alongside the Queen Mary and running on select nights from September 29  - October 31, Shaqtoberfest will host family-friendly trick or treating during the day and a frightfully fun Halloween festival at night. Presale tickets are availaible now. - Opening Day Thursday, September 29

Scarium of the Pacific - (Long Beach) Discover the creatures lurking in the depths at the Aquarium of the Pacific during its Scarium-themed weekend. Enjoy special Halloween programs, including the annual children’s costume contest, creepy coloring contest, vampire magician, underwater pumpkin carving, creepy critters and more!  Saturday, October 29 & Sunday. October 30.

Knott's Spooky Farm -(Buena Park)  Enjoy the Halloween season at Knott’s Spooky Farm, a family-friendly fall time celebration. Little ghouls can trick-or-treat around the town of Calico’s shops and buildings to collect sweet treats from the friendly townsfolk plus enjoy even more kids' Halloween activities. Families can join in on the Halloween fun as the park is transformed with themed décor and spooky surprises. The fall daytime Seasons of Fun event is included with regular park admission or your Season Pass. (Thursday - Sundays) Opening Day - Thursday, September 29

Pumpkin Palooza Festival at Discovery Cube - (Santa Ana) Visit Orange County’s first-ever Pumpkin Palooza Festival at Discovery Cube. Dress the kids in their favorite costumes, join Pumpkinology 101 activities, and come dance to Halloween-themed music at the fun Pumpkin Palooza Dance Party. Spooky Science at Discovery Cube -  (Los Angeles)  This Fall, visit Spooky Science at Discovery Cube Los Angeles. Stop by the science lab for fun & educational activitiesLet your toddlers jump on the tractor rides. Take the Pumpkin Tetris ChallengeGo on a scavenger hunt throughout the science center. Participate in the costume parade, trick-or-treat stations, and live DJ(weekends only). This event is included with General Admission or valid membership. Opening Day - Saturday, October 1

BOO at the Santa Ana Zoo -(Santa Ana) Follow a fun Halloween trail through the Zoo during extended admission hours. You'll discover their "merry, not scary" decorations along the way, making this an activity the whole family can enjoy together, wearing family-friendly costumes and collecting goody bags for each child on the way out. Boo at the Zoo is only open for four nights in October, so get your tickets now. Opening Day- Saturday, October 22

Boo at the L.A. Zoo- (Los Angeles) The Halloween spirit is in full swing for 31 monstrous days this October, with special weekend entertainment and activities, including open-air live shows, special animal pumpkin feedings, themed photo ops, education stations, and much more. Costumes are encouraged! Opening Day, October 1

Boo at the Hesperia Zoo- (Hesperia) A tradition for over 15 years, The Hesperia Zoo transforms itself into a 1 hour living storybook of Myths, Legends and Spooky Tales Tour.  Multiple meet and greet animal stations during your visit. A safe place for trick-or-treating. This year they added a Haunted Hayride! Weekends only. Opening Day -  Friday, October 14

Brick or Treat at Legoland(San Diego) LegoLand's Halloween event is better than ever this year! Brick-or-Treat will bewitch LEGOLAND® California Resort with tons of candy, an all-new show lineup, never-before-seen exclusive LEGO® characters, and more! This event is included with park admission but all Brick-or-Treat activities will run from 3pm - 9pm on Saturdays during the event and 2pm - 8pm on Sunday, October 30. Opening Day is Saturday, September 17

Sea World Spooktacular - (San Diego) Kids love trick-or-treating during this daytime event as they explore our decorated trail and meet all sorts of colorful characters. And that’s just the beginning! From a Halloween dance party to a pumpkin scavenger hunt and more, this is immersive family fun you’ll only find here. SeaWorld Spooktacular happening on weekends from Sept. 17 – Oct. 31. SeaWorld Spooktacular is included with park admission. Opening Day - Saturday, September 17

The Count's Halloween Spooktacular - (Sesame Place, San Diego) Come in costume and celebrate silly, not-too-spooky fun at The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place! The park will be transformed into a family-friendly Halloween haven, and guests will enjoy trick-or-treating around the park, Halloween-themed shows, the Sesame Street Halloween Parade, Dance Party, an interactive Spot-The-Ghost Scavenger Hunt, Sesame Street-themed dry & wet rides, games, special retail, and unique photo opportunities with everyone’s favorite furry friends dressed up in costume! Happening on weekends from Sept. 17 – Oct. 31. Opening Day - Saturday, September 17

Nights of the Jack  - (Calabasas) Nights Of The Jack is a family-friendly walk-thru Halloween experience. Follow the 2/3 mile trail at King Gillette Ranch, glimmering at every turn with blazing gourds around every corner. Be sure to have your cameras ready to take some amazing pictures. Expect to see larger-than-life pumpkin installations and detailed artist depictions of your favorite movie stars, sports heroes, and animated characters. Visit the Spookyeasy bar for hot cider or a seasonal cocktail. Opening Day - Friday, September 30

Haunt'Oween LA -(Woodland Hills) For 31 days, Haunt O' Ween is going all out and embracing the spirit of Halloween! This expansive, family-friendly space makes the perfect playground in which to enjoy all the adventures and fun associated with the season. Go trick-or-treating in the Town of Haunt O' Ween, play games, get your face painted, enjoy food and drinks... the list is endless. Make sure to take plenty of photos and videos—you'll remember the month of Haunt O' Ween for years to come! Opening Day- Friday, September 30

Carved at Descanso Gardens  (La Cañada Flintridge) Spooky season returns to Descanso Gardens. Carved is a family-friendly event for all ages. Hundreds of carved pumpkins will line a 1-mile walk through the Camellia Forest and Oak Grove for three weeks in October. Along with pumpkins, there will be exciting new oversized sculptures made of sticks and other natural materials. The popular Pumpkin House, a hay maze, and themed food and beverage will all help to create a fun harvest festival ambiance. **Advance tickets required Opening Day- Friday, October 7
