Help find the Leprechaun's Lost Gold

In parks all over Rancho Cucamonga!

By Beth Neely, Publisher Macaroni Kid Rancho Cucamonga February 19, 2021

Every year the St. Patrick’s Day Leprechaun comes through Rancho Cucamonga to celebrate.
But last year he noticed something a little different. The parks and streets were empty.
He was so excited he ran from park to park playing on the swings and running around without worrying about anyone spotting him.

When he got back home he realized his bag had a hole in it and all his gold was gone.
All of the leprechaun's gold was now all over parks throughout Rancho Cucamonga and on March 17, 2021, he’s coming back to claim it!

Macaroni Kid Rancho Cucamonga spotted a little note at one of the parks giving us the magic words to make the gold appear to anyone who wants to find it. We want to get to it all before the leprechaun does! So we are inviting all the kids in Rancho to come to hunt for gold on Saturday, March 13th.  At 10 AM we will say the magic words and let your parents know what parks the gold has been spotted!

Be sure your parents are getting our newsletter emailed to them each week for clues and following us on social media to see where you can hunt for gold.

Remember don’t be like the greedy leprechaun when you find the gold and take it all for yourself. Just take 1-2 pieces of gold (per child) so all the kids in Rancho can take some leprechaun gold home to keep.

Parents: Leprechaun Gold is to be used as a decoration only and is not be safe to be eaten.
