During the weeks of February 24th and March 2nd, Sylvan Learning Center will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’ Birthday!
For over 16 years, Sylvan Learning Center in Rancho Cucamonga visits local elementary schools in Rancho Cucamonga. Our local schools request for Sylvans “Cat Readings” to their Kindergarten and First-grade students have become one of their most popular events of the year!
The “CAT” reads a Dr. Seuss story to the students, every student receives a token gift to remember the special day, PLUS Sylvan donates a Dr. Seuss book to the school library in an effort to celebrate the love of reading.
Currently, the schools who have signed up for this fun, annual tradition are:

Leaps and Bounds
Etiwanda Colony
Central Elementary
Sierra Vista
