About Carden Arbor View School

Established in 1981, CARDEN ARBOR VIEW SCHOOL is one of over 80 schools nationwide using Mae Carden’s teaching materials and methodologies.  We are an independent, private, non-sectarian school, serving students in kindergarten through eighth grades.  Our belief that teaching the whole child is very important – a must – as we are preparing children for life. CARDEN appeals to families seeking academic excellence, civility, and safety while offering a moral atmosphere that complements traditional family values.  The students develop individuality with dignity, confidence, and respect for self and others.  Our well-integrated and proven curriculum is delivered by caring professionals with a shared dedication for educating children.

  • MISSION
The Mission of Carden Arbor View School is to provide the highest quality education of the whole child using the Carden curriculum and philosophy – to educate with joy, growth, enthusiasm, dignity, and respect.

  • PHILOSOPHY
Carden Arbor View School believes in an education devoted to the Carden Method, an education directed to the whole child, and one that infuses individuality with dignity, self-reliance, and compassion.

At CAVS students build stamina and self-confidence through disciplined effort, at the same time gaining a respect for diligence and hard work.  Carden students blossom with an appreciation for life, its complexity as well as its joy and richness, and come to understand that the gift of knowledge carries with it certain moral and spiritual obligations to society that foster not just noble ambitions but unselfish service.

We hold these values both as a standard of conduct and as an outgrowth of the Carden Arbor View experience for students, faculty, staff, and everyone embraced in its family.

  • VISION
Carden Arbor View School is committed to being an exemplary Carden school.  In pursuit of this vision, we will provide a well-trained and dedicated staff ensuring a strong academic foundation utilizing the traditional Carden Educational Program.  We offer our families a collaborative atmosphere that prepares the whole child for life.  Within our innovative learning environment, we afford students in our diverse community the ability to reach their highest potential.
