February 14-20 is National Acts of Kindness Week! We’ve put together some awesome FREE printables so that you can grab your kids and head out to spread kindness in your community. 

But what kinds of things can you do as an act of kindness? 

You can do something big, or something small! You can do something that costs money or something that doesn't cost a dime! Acts of kindness come in all shapes and sizes -- but all have the same goal: To spread joy.

Here are 37 ideas on how you can participate in National Acts of Kindness Week:

  1. Encourage the people around you!
  2. Tape $2 to a Redbox machine.
  3. Pick up trash.
  4. Buy sand toys at the dollar store and leave them at a playground for other children.
  5. Wash someone’s car.
  6. Leave a not and prepackaged snacks on an elderly neighbors porch.
  7. Let someone jump ahead in line.
  8. Compliment a friend.
  9. Hold the door for someone.
  10. Write a thank-you note for your mail carrier.
  11. Bring cold water to your garbage collectors.
  12. Bake a treat for neighbors and leave them on their doorsteps.
  13. Pay for a stranger’s coffee at the drive-thru.
  14. Write chalk messages on the sidewalk.
