The average American will consume approximately 2,500 calories during his/her Thanksgiving dinner this year. Add in pre-thanksgiving meal snacks and an extra serving of grandma's famous pie, that number can reach upwards of 5,000 calories! To burn off all that food, you'd need to run a marathon or more!
