11:00am – Hot Wire Foam Factory Presents: Tips and tricks for making realistic model railroad layouts with foam. From carving to coating, from foam block to mountain top, we will guide you. Bring your questions and ideas and we will show you how to bring them to life. You do not have to be an artist to do this fast fun and easy hobby. If you can imagine it, we can show you how to make it.
2:00pm – Tips and Techniques for Scratch Building Wooden Models by SG Models. In this clinic, three techniques for building models from scratch will be discussed and demonstrated. This information will be useful for modelers building totally from scratch, kitbashing, or following a prepared kit. No experience necessary.
4:00 pm – Promoting & Enjoying Garden Railroading by Eaglewings Ironcraft
Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 7pm – Ontario Convention Center ($45 per person)
Join USA Trains for a night filled with great food and entertainment! USA Trains is producing a special limited edition HOBO party car, decorated for the occasion. This special car is limited to one (1) for the first 75 families attending this dinner. $45.00 per person – includes dinner, entertainment, special designed car (one per family or group) and lots of fun! According to the California Geological Survey, prospectors with a gold pan, some practice, and a little research to select a favorable area, can still have a reasonable chance at successfully finding gold or “color” in California streams. Try your hand at panning for gold and learn about the history of California Gold Prospectors and their movement.
The public is invited to step aboard for the celebration of the annual show. Whether you are a serious collector, model train enthusiast, or just getting started The Big Train Show is not to be missed! This show features trains of all scales and gauges for all types of collectors or anyone that enjoys the love of trains!
