Beauty and the Beast is the newest production in Inland Pacific Ballet’s series of original ballets creatively adapted from adventure filled stories with an imaginative interpretation of the time-honored tale of inner beauty. From the Beast’s imposing castle to the enchanted forest, Beauty and the Beast vividly illustrates the transformative power of love through striking set design, inventive choreography and a cast of fanciful characters. Living at the edge of a mystical forest, Beauty is a young girl pure of heart, whose father is accosted by a mysterious Beast after picking a single white rose from the Beast’s beloved garden. To save her father, Beauty offers herself in exchange for his freedom, and begins a journey of love and transformation for both herself and the Beast. With spectacular sets and stunning costumes, this encore presentation of Beauty and the Beast is a visual feast that will delight audiences of all ages.

Inland Pacific Ballet, celebrating its 20th anniversary, is a professional ballet company of national stature in the Inland Empire of Southern California. The Company’s repertoire includes such classics as A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Les Sylphides, Graduation Ball and Swan Lake Act II. Full length classical masterpieces include Giselle, Coppélia and a lavish production of The Nutcracker. Contemporary classics include seminal works by the legendary George Balanchine including Serenade, Concerto Barocco and Who Cares? and a growing body of original work which includes creative adaptations of much loved stories such as The Little Mermaid,Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast and Dracula.
