ReadyRC Preparedness Fair Celebrates National Preparedness Month!

September 13, 2014
Today from 10 am to 4 pm, the Fire District will partner with Honeyville Farms, a retail store specializing in long term food storage and emergency supplies, to host the 2nd Annual Emergency Preparedness Fair at their Rancho Cucamonga store, located at 9175 Milliken Ave.

The Preparedness Fair will celebrate September as National Preparedness Month, encouraging those that live and work in Rancho Cucamonga to take the necessary steps to be prepared for disaster before it strikes.  Numerous exhibitors will provide education and information on preparedness and self-reliance topics. Honeyville Farms will also offer in-store demonstrations, food samples and classes on topics such as water storage, purification, power outages and local disasters that will affect our community (fire, flood, wind and earthquake).  Fair attendees will also be entered into opportunity drawings for water filters, water storage containers, freeze dried foods and more!
